Maruti Suzuki has released the first teaser of the new Brezza facelift ahead of its launch on July 24, 2026. Official bookings for the updated model have commenced at a token sum of Rs 11,000. Interested buyers can pre-book the SUV at any Maruti Suzuki Arena dealership or online.
The teaser reveals the SUV’s silhouette while concealing most of its design details. However, multiple spy shots and videos have already given us a fair idea of the key changes.
Turbo Petrol Engine
The most significant upgrade will be made under the hood. The new 2026 Maruti Brezza facelift will be offered with a 1.0L Boosterjet turbocharged petrol engine sourced from the Fronx. In the Fronx, this engine delivers power worth 100bhp and 148Nm. The turbo-petrol engine will be paired with a new 6-speed manual gearbox.
NA & CNG Options
The updated model lineup will also continue with the existing 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol and CNG powertrain options. The Brezza CNG could be benefited from an underbody-mounted CNG cylinder instead of the current boot-mounted tank.
New Maruti Brezza Design & Interior Highlights
Subtle exterior changes are expected. The new 2026 Maruti Brezza is likely to feature revised front and rear bumpers and newly-designed alloy wheels. Inside the cabin, the subcompact SUV is expected to feature a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ambient lighting, powered driver’s seat, ventilated front seats and more. It remains to be seen whether the new Brezza facelift will be equipped with a Level 2 ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) suite.
New Maruti Brezza Turbo Petrol Price Expectations
With the aforementioned changes, the new Maruti Brezza 2026 facelift is likely to witness a minor price hike. The turbo-petrol variants will certainly command a premium over the naturally aspirated petrol versions. We expect that the new Brezza turbo petrol prices will start around Rs 11 lakh for the base variant, and go up to Rs 15 lakh for the top-end trim.
Currently, the subcompact SUV lineup is available within the price range of Rs 8.26 lakh – Rs 13 lakh (ex-showroom). In terms of pricing and positioning, the new 2026 Maruti Brezza will continue to take on the Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV 3XO and Skoda Kylaq.
