New Delhi: Kawasaki has updated the ZX-10R for 2026 with noticeable changes to its design and aerodynamics. The new fairing now has built-in winglets that provide 25% more downforce, making the bike more stable at high speeds and improving grip on the front side. The face of the bike also looks sharper with a new ram-air intake and fresh headlight design, similar to the new ZX-6R.
Along with cosmetic improvements, Kawasaki has made small but important setup changes to the chassis and suspension to match the new aerodynamics. The higher ZX-10RR model continues to offer lighter parts and race-focused components. Both updated models will go on sale globally in 2026.

Kawasaki has also made a few tweaks to the chassis setup. The swingarm pivot height is now 2mm higher, which helps balance the effect of the new aerodynamics. Suspension parts remain the same but have been fine-tuned. The 43mm Showa USD fork has the same spring rate, but its height has been lowered by 2mm, and the damping has been adjusted. At the back, the fully adjustable Showa shock gets revised spring and damping settings along with new linkage parts.
An Ohlins mechanical steering damper, which was earlier only available on the ZX-10RR, now comes as standard on the regular ZX-10R. The bike also gets new Bridgestone Battlax RS12 tyres for better grip.
