2025 Auto9 Awards: Setting stage for automotive brilliance

New Delhi: The Indian automotive industry has been moving at a rapid pace, and 2025 might have been one of the most revolutionary years, with the number of car and bike launches and regulations that came into play. To celebrate the amazing year, we decided to put a jury of 27 jury members around the Formula One track of the Buddha International Circuit to decide the favourite cars that we saw come through this year.

With customer expectations at an all-time high, the carmakers have responded phenomenally in the year, coming with heavy-tech SUVs and electrified powertrains.

Of course, the cars went through some tough tests of ours, which are not limited to just how fast a car can go. We wanted to understand the appeals of the car, the ride quality, comfort and what a modern-day customer wanted. Which prompted us to gather all types of cars that came out in the year and make our judgment, once and for all.
