200 crore case against Maruti Suzuki, petitioner reached the court with a fetus – read what happened after this… MP High Court Slams Man For Bringing Foetus To Courtroom In Maruti Case

Madhya Pradesh High Court rejects Rs 200 crore petition against Maruti Suzuki. In the absence of evidence, the petition was said to be filed with bad intentions. Expressing displeasure over bringing the fetus in the hearing, the court said that justice is achieved through evidence, not through theatrics.

Jabalpur: Madhya Pradesh High Court has rejected the petition for compensation of Rs 200 crore filed against Maruti Suzuki. The court also expressed deep displeasure over the fact that on March 9, during the hearing, the petitioner had brought an aborted fetus inside the court. The court said in a strict tone that judicial proceedings cannot be made a platform for emotional demonstration. Justice is delivered only on the basis of law and evidence, not through sympathy or dramatic antics.

What is the whole matter?

Petitioner Dayashankar Pandey had filed an application in the High Court against Maruti Suzuki. His allegation was that he had exposed a big scam of more than Rs 200 crore in the company, after which he and his family are being continuously attacked. He claimed that one such attack caused his wife to miscarry. Pandey also said that earlier his daughter was badly injured in a fire incident and has become permanently disabled. For these reasons, he had demanded recovery of the scam amount, compensation of Rs 82 lakh for the treatment of his daughter and an impartial police investigation into the matter.

What did the court say?

During the hearing, both the state government and Maruti Suzuki Company strongly opposed the petition. He argued that all the allegations of the petitioner are baseless and he has no evidence. Upon examining the documents, the court found that the petitioner had failed to produce even preliminary evidence in support of his claims, such as copies of the complaints given to the authorities. The court said that such serious allegations cannot be accepted without evidence and termed the petition as vague and filed with ill intentions.

The High Court also noted that the petitioner is repeatedly coming to court regarding the same matter and is not following the correct legal procedure. The court also expressed displeasure that filing petitions again and again without any new evidence is wasting the court’s time.

Court’s strong objection to showing fetus

The court strongly condemned the incident of the petitioner placing the fetus in front of the court during the hearing. The judge said, “This is a highly objectionable and illegal act. The courtroom cannot be made a stage for emotional drama. Such behavior lowers the dignity of the judiciary.” The court warned that displaying human remains in this manner is a violation of the law and could also be a punishable offence.

The court suggested that if the petitioner has any complaint regarding the police investigation, he should approach the concerned magistrate court as per law instead of directly coming to the High Court. While rejecting the petition, the court has warned the petitioner that if such behavior is repeated in future, strict legal action will be taken. This judgment has sent a clear message that the court is always ready to hear genuine victims, but abuse of the judicial system through publicity or allegations without evidence will not be tolerated.
