Both the students study in different government girls high schools of Tumudibandh block and lived in hostels. According to the hostel administration, when the students returned after the summer holidays, they did not reach to take sanitary napkins regularly. Seeing this unusual behavior, the employees informed the higher officials and then both the students were taken to the hospital. When the pregnancy test was conducted during the routine health checkup conducted in the hospital, the reports of the two turned out to be positive. As soon as this news was received, the hostel administration informed the police.

Different FIR recorded in two police stations

After this entire incident, the police have registered two separate FIRs – one in Kotgarh police station and the other in Belghar police station. Police say the matter is sensitive and seriously investigation has been started. At present, the statements of the victim girl students are being recorded and efforts are being made to identify the people, due to which these conditions were created.
