Are you planning to buy a 7-seater SUV? If yes, two new models set to debut in August 2026 could be worth waiting for. JSW MG Motor India will introduce its first ADAPT platform based premium three-row electric SUV, which will be based on the Wuling Eksion (also known as the Wuling Starlight 560). Meanwhile, Mahindra & Mahindra is likely to showcase the Scorpio N facelift on August 15, 2026.
It’s important to note that neither carmaker has officially announced the official launch dates or revealed complete details of these upcoming SUVs.
MG 7-Seater Electric SUV
The will be powered by a 69kWh battery pack paired with a 210bhp electric motor. This setup will offer a claimed range of 600km per charge. The SUV will offer a 2+3+2 seating configuration, with a bench-type seat in the second row and two individual seats in the third-row.
Similar to the Wuling Eksion, the new MG electric SUV is expected to offer features such as a 12.8-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system, an 8.8-inch fully digital instrument cluster, leatherette upholstery, automatic climate control, wireless phone charger, ambient lighting, 360-degree surround view camera, Level 2 ADAS and more.
2026 Mahindra Scorpio N Facelift
Following its tradition of celebrating Independence Day with new product unveilings and launches, Mahindra & Mahindra is likely to debut the on 15th August, 2026. Spy shots suggest that the SUV will receive minimal design changes and feature enhancements. On the exterior, the SUV might feature a slightly redesigned grille, revised bumper, new headlamps and fog lamp housings and a new set of alloy wheels.
Mahindra is likely to equip the new Scorpio N with a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, new seat upholstery and trims. Under the hood, the new 2026 Mahindra Scorpio N facelift will continue to feature the existing 2.0L turbo petrol and 2.2L diesel engine options.
