2 Australian women cricketers molested in Indore, accused arrested

New Delhi: A very shameful incident has been reported on Thursday morning, where two Australian women cricketers were allegedly followed and harassed by a man who was riding a bike, while returning to their hotel from a cafe in Indore

The players, members of the Australian women’s team competing in the ICC Women’s World Cup, were staying at the Radisson Blu Hotel with their teammates.

Australian team’s security manager Danny Simmons, filed a complaint at MIG police station on Thursday evening.

This document from the MIG Police Station in Indore, details a crime reported on October 23, 2025. A police Sub-Inspector proceeded to the Radisson Blu Hotel, Indore, on the orders of senior officers concerning an “offence related to a woman.”

The complainant, Mr. Danny Sigurmus, Australia Cricket Team’s women’s security manager, reported the incident against an unknown motorcycle rider. The incident occurred around 11:00 AM on the Ring road service road near the Samyak Stone shop, and the complaint was formally registered at 7:46 PM that day.

A preliminary report (Dehati Nalisi Case No. 0/2025) has been recorded under Section 74 and 78 of the BNS (Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita), and the document confirms that a formal crime is now being registered against the unknown accused, and the matter is being taken up for full investigation.
