19th National Jamboree 2025 in Lucknow: India’s largest Youth Mahakumbh with over 30,000 Scouts

Lucknow will host the 19th National Jamboree from 23–29 November 2025. Initiatives like 30,000+ Scouts, Drone Show, AI Hub, Global Village, Adventure Activities and Green Jamboree will connect the youth with innovation, discipline and cultural pride.

Lucknow. Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, is going to host a historic event from 23 to 29 November 2025. The city, famous for its culture and excellent hospitality, will witness the diamond jubilee celebrations of the 19th National Jamboree of Bharat Scouts and Guides.

Gathering of 30,000+ scouts at Defense Expo Ground

More than 30,000 Scouts and Guides Cadets from India and abroad will gather together at the Defense Expo Ground located in Vrindavan Yojana. The culture and hospitality tradition of Lucknow will give a memorable experience to these youth.

Glimpse of youth power, innovation and development of India

This event will become a symbol of youth’s enthusiasm, discipline, innovation and cultural pride of India. Attractions like the first-ever Drone Show, Artificial Intelligence (AI) Hub and Global Village will give this Jamboree a modern identity. The participants will enjoy the delicious dishes of Banaras, Purvanchal and Bundelkhand including Lucknow.

Over 32,000 Indian and foreign participants

Around 32,000 Indians and 1,500 foreign participants will participate in the event. 3,500 tents, 2,200 toilets, 1,700 bathrooms and more than 100 kitchens have been arranged at the site spread over 300 acres. The 30,000 capacity stadium, 12 entrance gates, German hangar and advanced LED screens make it an international level event.

Strong preparation of safety, health and facilities

Police control room, fire station, 100-bed hospital and 16 dispensaries will be available for the safety and convenience of the participants. Additionally, overseas cafeteria, administrative offices, conference halls and exhibition areas will provide a global experience.

Global Village and Special Exhibition Attractions

The Jamboree will have major attractions like Global Village, Army and Air Agniveer Exhibition, ODOP Expo, Robotics and Electronics Exhibition. For the first time, an IT and AI hub is being created, where youth will be able to get a glimpse of innovation, leadership and Digital India.

Exciting Activities and Adventure Zone

There will be high rope adventure, sky cycle, zipline, wall climbing, commando bridge, archery, shooting, zorbing and many selfie points for the youth. These activities will help in building teamwork, discipline and self-confidence.

Green and Clean Jamboree Initiative

This jamboree will be completely based on green and clean theme. Scientific disposal of plastic and wet waste, e-karts, Green Warriors program and Green Pledge Wall will spread the message of environmental protection.

New technological and digital initiatives started for the first time

For the first time, the two-day drone show will showcase the journey of 75 years of Scouting through light. RFID smart ID cards will increase security. All participants will get real-time updates from the WhatsApp network. E-magazine “Yuvambari” will promote paperless communication. Training in AI, technology and leadership will be given in skill workshops. There will be 24×7 CCTV security system in the entire complex.

UP government will bear the food expenses of all the participants

The Government of Uttar Pradesh has decided to reimburse the food expenses of the participants, making the event more inclusive and inspiring.

Developed youth – embodiment of developed India

The 19th National Jamboree will not just be an event but will become a strong platform to inspire the youth towards self-reliance, innovation, environmental protection and cultural pride.
