1600 students of Gorakhpur University received training in AI, Big Data, IoT and coding under Samsung Innovation Campus. UP CM Yogi Adityanath will distribute certificates at a function organized on Saturday.
Gorakhpur. 1600 students of Gorakhpur University have completed training under Samsung Innovation Campus running in collaboration with Samsung India. The program aims to skill the youth in future technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data, Internet of Things (IoT), and coding and programming.
CM Yogi will give certificate
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will distribute certificates to the students receiving training in a function organized at Yogiraj Baba Gambhirnath Auditorium on Saturday. The Chief Minister will give certificates to some students with his own hands and will also provide guidance to them.
Samsung India CEO JB Park will be present in the program.
JB Park, President and CEO of Samsung India and Vinod Sharma, Chairman of Electronics Sector Skills Council of India will be present as special guests at the event. The program was presided over by the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Poonam Tandon will do it.
Big step towards digital empowerment
This training program was conducted by Swadesh (Social Welfare and Development for Empowered Society) organization in collaboration with Electronics Sector Skills Council of India. Vice Chancellor Prof. Poonam Tandon said, “Initiatives like Samsung Innovation Campus give new impetus to the University’s ‘Skills to Employment’ mission. This will provide employment and digital skill opportunities not only to our students, but also to the younger generation of the region.” He described it as a historic step towards digital empowerment of Gorakhpur and Purvanchal.
