WPL 2026 RCB vs DC: Royal Challengers Bangalore team is riding on the victory chariot in Women’s Premier League 2026. The 11th match of the season was played between RCB and Delhi Capitals teams. In this match played at DY Patil Stadium, Smriti Mandhana defeated Delhi Capitals, captained by her friend Jemimah Rodrigues, by 8 wickets. In this match, a captaincy inning was seen from the bat of Smriti Mandhana, but she remained 4 runs away from the century. With this, RCB achieved its fourth win of the season.

Shefali Verma’s hard work went in vain

The beginning of this match was quite explosive for Royal Challengers Bangalore. Delhi Capitals lost the first 4 wickets for just 10 runs. But Shefali Verma played an amazing inning and scored 62 runs facing 41 balls, which included 5 fours and 4 sixes. Whereas, Lucy Hamilton scored 36 runs in 19 balls, due to which Delhi team managed to put 166 runs on the board in 20 overs.

Lauren Bell once again shone in RCB’s bowling, taking 3 wickets. Sayali Satghare also took 3 wickets, due to which Delhi team could not make a big score. Prema Rawat also took 2 wickets, apart from her Nadine de Klerk got 1 success.

Smriti Mandhana rained fours and sixes

RCB, while chasing the target, faced a setback in the beginning, but captain Smriti Mandhana played an amazing inning. Smriti scored 96 runs on 61 balls, which included 13 fours and 3 sixes. His stormy innings completely turned the match towards RCB. Smriti made a tremendous partnership of 142 runs with Georgia Wall, in which Georgia scored 54 not out. Due to which RCB achieved the target with the loss of 2 wickets in 18.2 overs.

But Smriti Mandhana remained 4 runs away from her century. Let us tell you, in the history of Women’s Premier League, no batsman has been able to score a century till now. Even Mandhana could not end this wait despite coming very close. Even before this, many players have become victims of nervous nineties in the Women’s Premier League.
