Messi announced his ‘Goat India Tour’ through a post on his social media account. Messi also expressed his happiness and curiosity to visit India with this and told that on his 3 -day visit, when he will stay in which city and which events will take part in.
Star captain Messi, who made Argentina the champion of the World Cup 2022, wrote, “I am very excited to come to a beautiful country like India in this December. It will be a matter of happiness to participate in concerts, youth football clinics, paddle cups and charity programs in Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi and perhaps another city. Also, it will be a matter of meeting and celebrating the special people and celebrities of India.
Messi said that it is a matter of respect for him to return to India again after 14 years. Star footballer said, “It is a great honor for me to visit this. Messi had earlier visited India in 2011. This time he will be in Kolkata (Salt Lake Stadium) on 13 December, Mumbai (Wankhede Stadium) on 14 December and then in New Delhi (Arun Jaitley Stadium) on 15 December. He can also meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi.
