14 new ICU beds will start very soon in Delhi government’s GTB hospital, Health Minister directed

Icu bed in gtb hospital: Delhi Health Minister Dr. Pankaj Kumar Singh held an important review meeting with Medical Director and Senior officials at Guru Tegh Bahadur (GTB) Hospital today. The Health Minister said that to fulfill the resolution of healthy Delhi, strong Delhi, the Delhi government is busy making health services as well as infrastructure. Giving strict instructions to the officials, the minister said that all the civic works going on in the hospital premises should be completed on priority basis as soon as possible. The Health Minister has instructed to immediately start 14 new ICU beds at GTB Hospital, so that necessary medical facilities like ICU can be dedicated to the service of patients at the earliest.

Lifts will be started soon

Health Minister Dr. Pankaj Kumar Singh, while instructing to remove all the shortcomings related to infrastructure in the hospital, said that the GTB has instructed to immediately change the old and damaged lift of the hospital immediately, so that the patients and staff along with the patients reaching the hospital do not have to face any kind of trouble. The minister instructed the medical director of the hospital that the emergency ward should be upgraded to the ventilator -based monitoring system and other state -of -the -art life saving equipment at the earliest.

To ensure the safety of the patients coming to the hospital, Health Minister Dr. Pankaj Kumar Singh directed the Medical Superintendent to immediately cover all the electrical wires open in the hospital campus. So that there is no accident in future.

Thousands of patients come to OPD every day from outside Delhi

A large number of people from the surrounding border areas including the capital Delhi also arrive at GTB Hospital in Delhi to get treatment daily. Due to which there is a huge crowd of patients in the hospital. In view of the increasing crowd of patients, the minister has also instructed to implement the effective scheme of managing the crowd in the hospital. Giving instructions to ensure arrangements like movement of patients and additional aid desk, he said that the patients who reached the hospital should not face any kind of inconvenience and trouble.

Health Minister Dr. Pankaj Kumar Singh gave a clear instruction to the Medical Superintendent and said that all the civic and infrastructure work in the hospital should inspect the progress yourself and submit it to the detailed report as soon as possible.
