A case of rape of a 12th class student who had gone to study coaching in UP’s Sant Kabir Nagar after rendering her unconscious has come to light. With the help of the student’s friend, the landlord of the coaching center made her unconscious by giving her intoxicating drink and then committed brutality.
The student’s health deteriorated due to excessive bleeding. He is undergoing treatment in a private hospital in the city. On Saturday, the police registered a case against the accused youth and the girl student’s friend.
A 17-year-old girl, resident of Khalilabad area of Municipality, studies in class 12th. She also studies coaching in a coaching center run in another locality of the city. The coaching center runs in a house in Badre Alam. The student had gone to study coaching on Friday. Her friend took the student to a house located at a short distance from the coaching centre. Badre Alam was already present there. It is alleged that as part of a conspiracy, with the help of the student’s friend, Badre Alam mixed intoxicants in water and made her drink it. The student became unconscious some time after drinking the water. Badre Alam raped the minor student while she was unconscious and then ran away.
After some time the student regained consciousness. He started having stomach pain. Her friend took her to the Joint District Hospital. Seeing excessive bleeding, the doctor of the district hospital referred the student to BRD Medical College, Gorakhpur. He was admitted to a private hospital in Khalilabad. Kotwal Pankaj Kumar Pandey said that on the basis of the complaint of the victim’s mother, a case of rape, POCSO Act and SCST Act was registered against the accused Badre Alam and the student’s friend. ASP Sushil Kumar Singh has said that a case has been registered against the accused youth and his friend in the case of rape of a student. Higher officials inspected the incident site and gathered information about the incident. The SP has deployed two police teams to arrest the accused.
