Yashasvi Jaiswal could not get a place in Team India for the T20 World Cup 2026, on which many questions were raised. While playing for Team India in this format since IPL, Jaiswal has shown his ability to the world. But the competition in Team India is so much that at present they are away from this format. Despite this, Jaiswal never leaves any chance to prove himself and he did just that when he scored a century in just 47 balls.

We give you complete information about when, where and against whom Jaiswal scored this century. The first thing is that Jaiswal was recently a part of the ODI series with Team India but he did not get a chance there. In such a situation, there is no point in scoring this century in this series. Nor did he do this feat in any practice match. The Indian batsman showed this talent of his batting in the show of former English batsman Kevin Pietersen.

Jaiswal won the challenge, scored a century

In fact, in his YouTube channel ‘The Switch’, former England captain Pietersen does such interviews with many legendary players and also gives some cricket related challenges. He put one such challenge in front of Jaiswal. To show Jaiswal’s ability to the world, Pietersen challenged the Indian batsman to score 100 runs in 50 balls. But there were two conditions along with this – first, the speed would increase by 1 mile per hour with every ball and second, every time he was out, 5 runs would be deducted from his score.

In this challenge held at a local ground in England, Jaiswal had to score these runs in front of a bowling machine, while many fielders were also deployed. It started with a speed of 51 miles per hour and after this Jaiswal started hitting fours and sixes. Meanwhile, he was out twice and 10 runs were deducted from his score. As the speed of the ball increased, he missed some balls but ultimately Jaiswal crossed the 100 mark in 47 balls. He completed his century by hitting a six.

Jaiswal’s eyes on IPL

Now, even though this was not a real match and Jaiswal had to bat in front of a bowling machine, the Indian batsman showed that he has the ability to bat equally fast. Now what benefit they get from this, it will be known only in the coming time. For now, Jaiswal’s eyes will be fixed on the upcoming IPL season, where he will take the field as the most important player of Rajasthan Royals.
