The alleged scam of thousand crore rupees under the Water Life Mission has created a political stir. The Congress is constantly questioning this. Now state Congress spokesperson Sangeeta Sharma has surrounded the state government and questioned PM Modi that what happened to the policy of ‘Neither Khaunga nor Dhan Daye’.

The matter came to light when former MLA Kishore Samarite sent a complaint letter to the Prime Minister’s Office alleging that about Rs 1,000 crore was recovered as a commission out of the 30,000 crore budget of the Water Life Mission. It included the names of Public Health Engineering Minister Sampatiya Uike, Department Engineer -in -Chief BK Sonagaria and his accountant Mahendra Khare.

Congress questioned questions

Congress spokesperson Sangeeta Sharma has lashed out at the slogan of Prime Minister Modi’s “Neither Khada, Na Dhan Doon” regarding the matter. He said that “Modi ji had promised a corruption -free India, but such a big scam has come to light in his own party government. Is it just a show of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’? The country wants to know why he has silence on this scam”.

What is the matter

Water Jeevan Mission is an ambitious scheme of the Central Government, which aims to deliver clean drinking water from tap to every rural house of the country. Madhya Pradesh was allocated thirty thousand crore rupees from the central government under this scheme. Former MLA Kishore Samarite sent a complaint letter to the PMO alleging that a commission of Rs 1000 crore was done from the amount, including Minister Sampatiya Uike as well as the then chief engineer BK Sonagaria and his accountant Mahendra Khare. In response to these allegations, Minister Sampatiya Uike called himself innocent and said that he is ready for all kinds of investigation.
