100 years of RSS Live Updates: As the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) completes 100 years on Thursday, its chief Mohan Bhagwat is set to deliver annual Vijayadashami speech at the organisation’s headquarters in Nagpur.The RSS has planned a series of programmes, including more than one lakh ‘Hindu Sammelans’, across the country to mark its centenary year. It will begin with RSS chief’s annual Vijayadashmi address. Former President Ram Nath Kovind is the chief guest at the RSS’ Vijayadashmi event in Reshimbagh grounds. The RSS was founded in 1925 in Nagpur by Keshav Baliram Hedgewar on the day of Vijayadashami. It was established as a volunteer-based organisation with an aim to foster cultural awareness, discipline, service and social responsibility among citizens.
