10 of the Coolest Cars Crossing the Block This Week

This week’s auction calendar is stacked with everything from a no-reserve Ferrari F50 to a sleeper Skyline hiding an RB26 swap. We combed through Bring a Trailer, Cars & Bids, eBay Motors, Hemmings, and RM Sotheby’s sealed online sale to round up ten of the wildest cars currently crossing the block. One programming note: Hagerty Marketplace’s listings were not accessible at the time of writing, and Bonhams’ only live car-department sale this week is an automobilia auction rather than actual vehicles, so neither is represented below.

1996 Ferrari F50 — RM Sotheby’s (Lot 1 of 10)

Ferrari built just 349 examples of the F50, and this Ferrari Classiche-certified car is being offered without reserve as part of RM Sotheby’s Sealed July online sale. With a naturally aspirated, Formula 1-derived V12 and under 26,200 km on the clock, it carries a £5,000,000-£6,000,000 estimate.

1972 Ferrari 365 GTS/4 Daytona Spider by Scaglietti — RM Sotheby’s (Lot 2 of 10)

One of Maranello’s most coveted classics, this EU-specification Daytona Spider has remained in long-term Italian ownership and carries Ferrari Classiche certification. It’s estimated at €2,300,000-€2,800,000 in the same Sealed July sale, which closes July 16.

2005 Maserati MC12 — RM Sotheby’s (Lot 3 of 10)

Only 50 road-going MC12s were built to homologate Maserati’s GT racing program, and this example has covered a mere 2,024 km under a single owner for more than two decades. RM Sotheby’s is offering it with the estimate available upon request.

2018 Ferrari 488 GTB 70th Anniversary “The Green Jewel” — RM Sotheby’s (Lot 4 of 10)

Finished in a striking anniversary-edition livery, this single-owner 488 GTB has covered less than 1,100 km since new. It carries a CHF320,000-CHF400,000 estimate in RM Sotheby’s Sealed July sale.

2024 Lamborghini Revuelto — Bring a Trailer (Lot 5 of 10)

Lamborghini’s hybrid V12 flagship is up for grabs with no reserve, and bidding has already climbed to $391,000. The auction wraps up July 8, so time is short to get in on Sant’Agata’s newest halo car.

2018 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350R — Bring a Trailer (Lot 6 of 10)

This track-focused GT350R has covered just 2,100 miles and is currently bid to $77,000 with a few days left to run. Its flat-plane-crank V8 and aero-heavy body make it one of the rawest Mustangs Ford has ever built.

2001 Nissan Skyline 25GT Coupe (RB26 Swap) — Cars & Bids (Lot 7 of 10)

This R34-generation Skyline has had its factory engine swapped for the legendary twin-turbo RB26DETT paired with a 6-speed manual. Bidding sits at $50,000 across 43 bids with about a day left on the clock.

1966 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible — Cars & Bids (Lot 8 of 10)

This C2 Corvette pairs a 327-cubic-inch V8 with a 4-speed manual and comes with its factory hardtop included. It’s currently bid to $36,750 across 15 bids.

1936 Austin Heavy 12-4 London Taxi by Strachan — Hemmings (Lot 9 of 10)

About as far from a supercar as it gets, this right-hand-drive London taxicab rides on an underslung chassis and still has its original taxi equipment, jump seats, and roof light intact. Bidding stands at $12,000 with about two days remaining.

1956 Chevrolet 210 — eBay Motors (Lot 10 of 10)

This tri-five Chevy is currently bid to $30,000 with the reserve not yet met, and there’s still nearly a week left to bid. It’s a fresh listing on eBay Motors’ collector-car section, located in Salem, Oregon.
