Khadi Mahotsav 2025 will be organized in Lucknow from 21-30 November. In this, more than 160 entrepreneurs will display traditional products of the state. Selected beneficiaries will be given modern equipment. The event will promote rural entrepreneurship, indigenous products, local economy.
Lucknow. A 10-day Khadi Mahotsav 2025 is being organized in the state to encourage local entrepreneurship, give a new market to traditional art and strengthen rural self-reliance.
This festival will be held from 21st to 30th November at Central Sanskrit University, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow. In this, the rich heritage of Khadi, village industries, handicrafts and local art will be displayed on a big stage.
Inauguration of the festival and large participation of entrepreneurs
Rakesh Sachan, Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Khadi and Village Industries, Silk Industry and Handloom and Textile Industries Department, will formally inaugurate the festival. In this event, more than 160 entrepreneurs and units from different districts of the state will display and make their products available for sale.

The exhibition will include many famous and traditional products related to the state, such as-
- Carved Furniture of Saharanpur
- carpet of bhadohi
- Amroha’s Gamcha and Sadri

Many other indigenous and local industry based products will also be available to see and buy.
Honors and equipment distributed to entrepreneurs and beneficiaries
Selected entrepreneurs and beneficiaries will be honored during the Mahotsav. Awards will be given to outstanding state level units and equipment will be distributed in different categories, which include-
- 05-05 Dona Making Machine, Popcorn Machine and Honey Box to the beneficiaries.

With the distribution of these equipment, rural enterprises will get modern resources and they will be able to increase their production capacity.

As per the vision of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the objective of Khadi Mahotsav-2025 is to strengthen rural industries, promote indigenous products and give a new identity to the artisans.
