Rajasthan has 40,320 Self -Help Group (SHGS), 3,156 gram organizations, and 99 package level organizations active. Through these groups, women are not only getting bank loans, but they are also setting up business. So far, bank loans worth ₹ 3,987 crore have been provided to 1.65 lakh SHGS. The state government also gave a fund of ₹ 366 crore to 27,563 groups under the Women’s Fund Loan Scheme. This is not only financial help, but a way of economic self -sufficiency for women.
