HERE’S HOW MOHIT PARMAR BAGGED THE ROLE OF ABHIR

On being asked about how he bagged the role and what was his first reaction after getting finalized, Mohit replied, “Actually, after Pandya Store, I was looking for a very interesting role, something like a grey-shaded or negative character. I saw a lot of potential in this role, and it felt like a very powerful one. I auditioned for it, then there was a mock shoot, and eventually, I got selected. After being selected, my first thanks go to my God, Mata Rani, and my Kuldevi. I was really happy, and the first thing I did was call my family. It felt amazing to be part of a legendary show like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, which has been running for 15 years. And on top of that, the role is truly remarkable. I felt good.”

Terming the character multi-shaded, the talented actor stated, “Yes, this character has a lot of shades, so I’ll get the opportunity to experiment in every aspect. I believe the audience will also enjoy it. This character has immense potential to be explored thoroughly. I will explore it and try to play with its different shades to make it even more interesting and engaging”.

MOHIT PARMAR ON REUNION WITH STAR PLUS AFTER PANDYA STORE

I worked on Pandya Store on Star Plus, and now I’m doing Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Star Plus is the number one channel, and Yeh Rishta is also the number one show, so it feels amazing to be a part of it again.”

MOHIT PARMAR ON PRESSURE OF PLAYING AKSHARA-ABHIMANYU’S SON

On being asked if he’s feeling any kind of pressure on playing Akshara and Abhimanyu’s son Abhir, Mohit concluded, “Yes, there’s definitely a bit of pressure because Abhir Akshara aur Abhimanyu Birla ka beta hai. The legacy of Abhimanyu and Akshara is something I can feel resting on my shoulders. So, there’s some pressure to make sure that the audience likes me as much as they loved Akshara and Abhimanyu. Now that I’m playing their son, I hope Abhir receives the same love as Abhira did. So yes, the pressure is there. Let’s see how the audience accepts me. I’ll do my best to meet their expectations.”
