Shami’s total 54 wickets
Shami has taken a total of 54 wickets in the World Cup. He has already left behind Zaheer Khan and Javagal Srinath. Both of them had taken 44-44 wickets in the World Cup. Shami has also become the bowler to take 50 wickets in the fewest innings in the history of the World Cup. Shami has reached 50 wickets in 17 innings. He left behind Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc. Starc had achieved this feat in 19 innings.
