Wind will change on Diwali, it will rain in these states… How will be the weather of Delhi-UP?

There is improvement in the air of Delhi before Diwali. But it still remains in the dangerous category. As of 7 am on Wednesday, Delhi’s air quality index remains 271. In many areas of Delhi, AQI is beyond 300. Talking about the weather of Delhi, there has been no change in it. Along with the heat during the day, the temperature has also increased in the evening. People who are eagerly waiting for the cold do not seem to feel the cold till 15th November.

There is a possibility of clear weather in Delhi-NCR on Diwali. According to the Meteorological Department, the sky will be clear in Delhi-NCR on October 30 and 31, but there will be fog. There is a possibility of rain in some areas of UP. Mild winter will start after Diwali. There is a possibility of rain in some states on October 31. The next 6 days remain extremely dangerous for Delhi. According to Safar India, the air quality of the capital is expected to be in very poor category from Wednesday. The firecrackers burst on Diwali will make it more frightening.

Dangerous days are coming in Delhi

Air pollution in Delhi remains in bad category, due to which people are having problems in breathing. People are falling victim to cough and cold due to bad air. According to Safar India, the air quality from October 30 to November 1 is likely to be in the very poor category. In case of additional emissions from firecrackers and stubble/garbage fires, air quality may reach severe category on October 31 and November 1. According to the forecast for the next 6 days, the air quality is likely to remain in the very poor to severe category.

On October 30, the predominant surface wind in Delhi is likely to be in north/south-east direction at a speed of 6-10 kmph, fog in the morning and clear sky. On October 31 morning, the predominant surface wind is likely to remain calm and come from north-west direction in Delhi, with a speed of 16-8 kmph and clear sky. During the morning hours on November 1, the predominant surface wind is likely to remain calm and blow from north-west/south-east direction over Delhi and the sky will remain clear.

It will rain in these states

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of change in the weather in Uttar Pradesh. There is a possibility of rain in Prayagraj, Varanasi, Ghazipur, Mirzapur, Sant Ravidas Nagar, Sonbhadra and Chandauli of the state on Diwali. Apart from these, IMD has predicted rain in coastal and southern areas of Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu on October 31.
