The wife’s fault was such that she was insisting on going to her maternal home on Bhaiya Dooj. Due to this the husband lost his temper and brutally killed his wife by slitting her throat. After this he himself hanged himself. Local people informed the police about this, after which the police reached the spot, took possession of both the bodies and sent them for post-mortem.

Actually, Rameshwar Maurya, resident of Delipur village of Sirauli police station area of ​​Bareilly, was married to Seema of Shekhupur (Aliganj) in 2014 and has two sons. Family members have alleged that Rameshwar used to fight with his wife Seema every day. Seema asked to go to her maternal home on Bhaiya Dooj, on this Rameshwar lost his temper and beat his wife and then killed her by slitting her throat with a scabbard.

According to the neighbours, Rameshwar was so angry that he attacked his wife with a sickle along with a trowel. While he was attacking, Seema was screaming but no one even noticed. Neighbors told that when the commotion subsided, they went towards his house and saw that Rameshwar was hanging in agony. Before the door could open and he could be saved, his life had already been lost.

Neighbors informed the police about the incident. The police reached the spot, broke the door and took out the bodies of both of them. SP Mukesh Chandra said that, on the information of local people, the police team reached the spot. The door was locked from inside. The police broke the door and took out both the bodies and sent them to the hospital for post-mortem.

Police told that Seema wanted to go to her maternal home on Bhaiya Dooj. The controversy started on this issue. In this case, it is coming to light that the husband committed suicide after killing his wife out of anger.
