But do you know that when he got the offer of his first film, his mother had asked the director to drop him out of the film. It is true. Karthik’s mother herself has revealed about this.
Kartik Aryan made his debut in 2011 with Luv Ranjan’s film ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’. As soon as he got the film offer, he told his mother about it. Actually, Karthik was giving auditions for films in Mumbai, no one in his house knew anything about this. But as soon as Karthi got the film, he happily told everything to his mother.
As soon as Karthik’s mother came to know that her son was going to appear in films, she requested Luv Ranjan to remove Karthik from the film. He did this so that Karthik could complete his studies and focus on his studies only.
Karthik’s mother herself told the truth
In an interview given to Galata India, Kartik Aryan’s mother Mala Tiwari said, “After being selected, he called me and was so happy that he was crying. He said, ‘Mummy, I lied to you, I came to Mumbai so that I could appear in films.’ I lost my temper. I said, ‘I had sent you to complete your studies and settle down in life. Why did you go to the movies? There is a lot of uncertainty there. I started crying. He started saying ‘Why are you crying?’ I said, ‘I am crying because what did the director see in you.’
Reached office after two days
Kartik’s mother Mala Tiwari reached the director’s office after two days. He told, “I asked him (Luv Ranjan) only one question, son, there are so many people in the world, why did you choose my son only? Keep this matter to both of us and please remove my son from the film.” Even though Mala Tiwari had asked Luv to remove Karthik from the film, Luv had refused to do so. Then Mala allowed Karthik to do the film on the only condition that he would complete his engineering studies and Karthik agreed to her.
