WATCH: LeBron James surpasses Jason Terry for 8th on all-time made threes list

The Los Angeles Lakers have a mixed start to the 2023-24 NBA regular season with six wins in 12 matches after losing their last game against the Sacramento Kings at the Arena.

In his 21st season in the NBA, LeBron James continued his dominance as he led the Lakers in total points scored and recently surpassed former Dallas Mavericks guard Jason Terry to reach the eighth spot in the all-time made three-pointers list.

In the Wednesday night clash between the Lakers and the Kings, Sacramento absolutely dominated the home team to win the game by 15 points despite LeBron James scoring a triple-double. The Kings handed the Lakers their first home defeat this season in six matches.

In the second quarter, LeBron James scored one from beyond the arc and surpassed the Mavericks legend, Jason Terry in the list of all-time three-pointers made. The Lakers guard D’Angelo Russell passed the ball to the 38-year-old James, who is now placed eighth on the all-time three-pointers made list.

LeBron James scored a joint team-high 28 points along with D’Angelo Russell, however, the ‘King’ James also made 10 rebounds and provided 11 assists in the Lakers home defeat. The LA Lakers also ended their three-game winning streak with a 110-125 loss to the Sacramento Kings. However, it was a historic night for James who became the second oldest player to register a triple-double and also moved to the fifth spot in the all-time triple-doubles list.

For the Kings, Domantas Sabonis led the scoring with 29 points, 16 rebounds, and seven assists, followed by De’Aaron Fox and Kevin Huerter’s 28 points each.
