Team India’s star batsman Virat Kohli has deep faith in temples. He is often seen absorbed in devotion with his wife Anushka Sharma. Something similar was seen even after the explosive performance in the ODI series against South Africa. Right after India’s spectacular victory in the series, Kohli reached the famous Simhachalam temple in Visakhapatnam. Here he had darshan of Lord Vishnu, many videos of which are going viral on social media.

This series was memorable for Kohli. He scored a total of 302 runs in the three matches, which included two brilliant centuries and one half-century. He also received the title of Player of the Series for this brilliant performance. As soon as the series ended, Kohli headed straight towards Simhachalam Temple. Here he was seen wearing a white T-shirt, a towel wrapped around his shoulder and a garland of flowers in his hand. As soon as he reached the temple, a video of him went viral on social media, in which he is seen having darshan in a calm manner. Kohli often visits the temple after important wins, which is also considered to be the secret of his mental strength.

Simhachalam Temple is an ancient and prominent religious place in Visakhapatnam, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. This temple situated on the hill is known for its architecture and spiritual importance. Lakhs of devotees come here every year, and now Kohli’s arrival will further increase its popularity.

He started the series by playing an inning of 135 runs in Ranchi, with which he became the player to score the most centuries in one format. This was his 52nd century in ODIs. After this, in the second match also he scored a century and scored 102 runs. Whereas, in the last match, Kohli played a brilliant inning of 65 runs in 45 balls, in which he hit 6 fours and 3 sixes. During this, his partnership of 116 runs with Yashasvi Jaiswal helped India achieve the target of 271 runs in just 39.5 overs.
