The name of the country’s first Vande Metro train has been changed just before its inauguration. Now the new name of this train will be Namo Bharat Rapid Rail. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to inaugurate this train, which runs for the first time in the country between Bhuj in Gujarat and Ahmedabad, on 17 September. Earlier, the name of the RRTS train was changed from RapidX to Namo Bharat Rapid Rail. This train will run between Meerut and Delhi. Recently, Prime Minister Modi also inaugurated it in Ghaziabad.
The central government and the Railway Ministry have approved the renaming of the Vande Bharat Metro train. When Prime Minister Narendra Modi will come today to flag off the country’s first Vande Bharat Metro train running between Ahmedabad and Bhuj, this train will be known as Namo Bharat Rapid Rail. PM Modi will flag off this train on the occasion of his birthday. On this occasion, he will also flag off many Vande Bharat trains. Especially the Namo Bharat Rapid Rail train is being considered a big gift for the people of Gujarat.
This train is made on the lines of Vande Bharat trains
According to railway officials, Namo Bharat Rapid Rail has been built on the lines of Vande Bharat Express trains. However, these trains will run for short distances in many parts of the country. Currently, the first of these proposed trains is being launched between Ahmedabad and Bhuj in Gujarat. According to officials, these short-distance trains will operate like EMUs. The difference between these two types of trains will be that Namo Bharat Rapid Rail will have state-of-the-art facilities and their speed will also be very high.
It will connect two cities like EMU
Whereas EMU trains have low speed and only basic facilities. This train works to provide connectivity between two cities. This makes it easier for people to work in another city while living in one city. Now with the running of Namo Bharat Rapid Rail, people will not only get comfort during travel in these trains but will also save time.
