UP: Minor had gone to a wedding, dead body found 100 meters away from home; fear of being murdered and thrown away

There was a stir in Bhadohi district of Uttar Pradesh at that time. When the body of an innocent 11 year old girl was found in a mutilated condition in a field at a distance of about 150 meters from the house. It is suspected that after raping the innocent girl, she was murdered and her body was thrown away. At present, the police team that reached the spot along with the dog squad has started investigating the matter. Additional Superintendent of Police Dr. Tejveer Singh said that after seeing the dead body, it seems that the matter is serious. The incident will be exposed soon after all the aspects are investigated and the post mortem report comes.

The incident took place in Radai Yakubpur village under Bhadohi Kotwali area. Where on the night of 24th November, an 11 year old girl named Lakshmi Vishwakarma had gone to a wedding ceremony in the village itself. After which she did not return home till late night. The family started searching for their daughter around 12 o’clock in the night but could not find her. The matter of his disappearance remained buried in the noise of the wedding. The deceased’s father Rajkumar told that the girl was missing since the wedding night and on November 25, 2024, information was given to the police along with the daughter’s photo. Today, in the afternoon of 29th, a mutilated body of the girl was found.

Mutilated body of minor found

The mutilated body of a minor found in Radai village of Bhadohi has created a sensation in the entire area. The villagers present at the spot were heard saying in a hushed voice that some people might have blackened the face with this and the girl might have died, then after that the body was brought and thrown here. The innocent looking deceased Lakshmi had blood coming out from her eyes, nose and mouth. There was heavy police deployment at the incident site. The police took the body into custody and sent it for post mortem. Superintendent of Police Dr. Meenakshi Katyayan, who immediately arrived on the news of the brutal murder of a minor, said that she is very saddened by the murder of an innocent child and his body being thrown, how can anyone commit such a heinous crime. Such criminals will not be spared under any circumstances.

Police started investigating the case

Bhadohi’s Additional Superintendent of Police, Dr. Tejveer Singh said that the incident site has been inspected with the three area officers of the district and a joint team of Crime Branch along with the forensic team and dog squad. ASP said that the girl had gone to the wedding of the daughter of Yakubpur resident Om Prakash Pal but when she did not return, the family informed the police. After which the police team has started investigating the case.
