‘UP has the biggest role in Developed India Vision 2047’- CM Yogi Adityanath

CM Yogi said in the conclave in Delhi that the role of UP is important in the developed India vision 2047. The state aims to become a $1 trillion economy by 2029-30. Till now investment proposals worth Rs 45 lakh crore have been received, out of which projects worth Rs 15 lakh crore have been started.

New Delhi. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Uttar Pradesh’s role is most important in realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Developed India Vision 2047. Speaking at a private newspaper conclave organized in New Delhi, he said that the target of making India a $5 trillion economy by 2027 and $30 trillion economy by 2047 will be achieved only if the country’s largest state moves forward at the same pace. He said that for this purpose the UP government has prepared the vision document of the state on the basis of suggestions from the public and public representatives.

Participation of both public representatives and public in the vision document

The Chief Minister said that to strengthen the role of UP in building a developed India, a 27-hour long discussion was held in the Assembly, in which MLAs from all parties participated. Along with this, suggestions were sought from the public on a large scale and till now more than 98 lakh suggestions have been received. On the basis of these ideas, clear targets are being set for 12 major sectors of the state. Yogi Adityanath said that Uttar Pradesh aims to become a $ 1 trillion economy by the year 2029-30 and the current progress is giving positive signs towards achieving this goal.

Strengthening the goal of ‘self-reliant India-self-reliant Uttar Pradesh’

CM expressed confidence that the state will fulfill the resolve of ‘Developed India, Developed Uttar Pradesh’ and ‘Self-reliant India, Self-reliant Uttar Pradesh’. He said that public participation and transparent governance is the biggest strength of this change.

Big change in investment sector, leaving negative image behind

Chief Minister Yogi said that earlier many entrepreneurs were hesitant to return to Uttar Pradesh and had negative perception towards the state. But the government assured them that UP has changed and is ready for new opportunities. He told that-

  • Proposals worth Rs 2.5 lakh crore received in road show
  • It increased to about Rs 4.75 lakh crore in the first investor summit.
  • UP received proposals worth Rs 40 lakh crore in the 3rd Investor Summit 2023

Overall, so far the state has received investment proposals worth Rs 45 lakh crore. Of these, projects worth Rs 15 lakh crore have come on the ground and production has also started.

Projects worth Rs 5 lakh crore in pipeline, next GBC soon

CM Yogi said that new projects worth about Rs 5 lakh crore will be launched in the next edition of Ground Breaking Ceremony (GBC) to be held soon. He said that this achievement is a new milestone for the industrial development of Uttar Pradesh and the double engine government has rapidly developed the state as an industrial hub.
