On October 27, a case was registered against 18 policemen, including the then Superintendent of Police of Chandauli district, Amit Kumar, in Nandganj police station of Ghazipur, UP under various sections on the orders of the CJM court of Ghazipur. In such a situation, not even 2 days had passed since the case was filed and on October 29 itself, the Ghazipur police disposed of the entire case and dismissed it. The police also sent its report to the court.
Constable Anil Kumar Singh, posted in Chandauli district in the year 2021, had made viral a list of recovery of Chandauli Police, in which it was said that recovery of Rs 12.5 lakh per month. Taking this as the basis, the police suspended him. During this period, action was also taken against him under the Gangster Act, accusing him of many serious allegations like robbery, cow smuggling etc. The police had also sent him to jail. After going to jail, he came out on bail and started working on the orders of the court.
Nandganj police was ordered to register a case
After this, Anil Kumar Singh filed a case in the court under section 156(3). While hearing the case, the CJM court of Ghazipur had ordered the Nandganj police to register a case in the month of September, but even after several months, the case was not registered by the police. In such a situation, Constable Anil Kumar Singh took the help of the High Court, whose date in the High Court was on 28th November and to avoid contempt of court, Nandganj Police had registered a case on 27th October.
Constable Anil Kumar Singh was posted in Chandauli district. Anil Kumar had his in-laws house in Badhara village of Nandganj police station of Ghazipur. In such a situation, an attempt was made to kidnap her while she was staying with her in-laws, after which her daughter informed 112 police and also gave an application in the police station to register a case against all the accused. However, no action was taken even during this period, after which he took the help of the court.
Case closed in 48 hours
The case was registered on the night of 27 October. Within 48 hours, the police submitted its complete report on this matter. If Superintendent of Police Dr. Iraj Raza is to be believed, there were many serious allegations against Constable Anil Kumar Singh. Besides, a case of gangsterism was also registered against him, the facts of which he had hidden while filing the case in the court. Taking this as the basis, the case has been dismissed and its report has been sent to the court. Besides, information has also been given to the department and the court for action against constable Anil Kumar Singh.
