According to the information received from the police, a marriage procession from Gorakhpur had come to a guest house located on Cinema Road in Pathardeva Nagar Panchayat town of Tarkulwa. The young man who was beaten had come to this wedding procession with the wedding guests.

According to the information, the young man, in an intoxicated state, lost his way from the wedding procession at night and reached a man’s house in the adjacent Kuchaya Ward No. 5 and started knocking loudly at his gate. In such a situation, when the person opened the door and saw the unknown young man, he started shouting ‘thief thief’. There was a theft in the area just a day before. Hearing this noise, a large number of people from the ward gathered.

The neighbors first caught the young man, then tied his hands and legs to an electric pole with a rope and started beating him severely with sticks and kicks. Some people asked the young man about him, but because he was in an intoxicated state, no one could understand what he was saying. In such a situation, the police reached the spot and rescued the youth and took him to the police station.
