This unexpected collaboration resulted in paying homage to a dazzling ensemble which marries culture with a modern touch of glamour. A piece that feels like cinema, glamour and everything beautiful was crafted by 23-year-old Fashion influencer, Nancy Tyagi. Apart from reinterpreting the saree in predictable tropes, Nancy turned it into a sculpture, ethereal and unmistakably contemporary.

The sheer pale mint or silver fabric of the modern saree was heavily embellished with sequins to add a striking shimmer. The silhouette crafted by Nancy floated between a red-carpet look and a pre-draped saree gown.
To give it a traditional saree look, the pallu swept across the bust and over one shoulder, leaving Tyla’s toned midriff exposed. With the merging of Indian draping with high fashion, creating a part cut, part draped ensemble, Nancy took it to another level of designing.

The low-rise body-hugging skirt with front pleats and dramatic trail added sharpness and glamour to the look, while the thigh-high slit injected a red-carpet modern touch to it. The see-through effect paired well with the intricate embroidery, offering a whisper of a sensual and elegant look.
