This thief was buying land and house by stealing from houses, police seized property worth Rs 35 lakh

Lucknow Police has attached the property worth about Rs 35 lakh of notorious thief Alam alias Kallu of Sitapur police station area. The police have attached this property during the action being taken against this criminal under the Gangster Act. Kallu had purchased this property in the name of his wife. For this, he was saving every rupee by stealing from other people’s houses for the last 13 years. Not only this, Kallu has also bought a plot with the stolen money. However, the police have not yet been able to identify this plot.

More than 20 cases are registered in different police stations against the vicious thief Alam alias Kallu, living in Thangaon. It is suspected that he is involved in similar other incidents as well, in which his name has not been confirmed yet. In view of these cases, Sitapur Police of Lucknow had initiated action under Gangster Act against the accused. In the same case, Lucknow’s Joint Police Commissioner Akash Kulhari had ordered to identify and confiscate the properties of the accused.

Three properties identified, attached

In this sequence, the police collected details of the properties of thief Kallu. During this time it was revealed that he had purchased a 14 thousand square feet farm in the name of his wife in Sitapur Kondri. The accused had purchased this farm on 6 April 2015. Two years later, on August 14, 2017, it bought a 46 square meter plot in Faizullaganj for Rs 6.5 lakh. In 2017 itself, it had also purchased a ready-made house in Kakauli, Faizullaganj. The estimated cost of all these properties is said to be more than Rs 35 lakh.

First case registered in 2011

According to the police, Alam alias Kallu had committed the first incident of theft in the year 2011. A case has been registered in this regard in Madianv police station. After this incident, this scoundrel formed his own gang and started committing crimes one after the other. Cases are registered against this in half a dozen police stations. The total number of cases registered against it is more than 20. There is a suspicion that he has been involved in similar cases also.
