India has reached the final of the ODI World Cup after 12 years after defeating New Zealand with brilliant centuries by Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer and lethal bowling by Mohammed Shami. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and many senior politicians expressed happiness over this big victory and congratulated Team India.

Congratulating on the victory, PM Modi tweeted on Twitter, “Congratulations to Team India! India performed brilliantly and entered the final in style. Excellent batting and good bowling sealed the match for our team. Good luck in the finals!

PM Modi also tweeted on Shami’s sharp bowling and wrote that today’s semi-final has become even more special because of his excellent individual performance. Cricket lovers will remember Mohammed Shami’s bowling in this game and during the World Cup for generations to come. Well played Shami!
