There was a fight with the wife, there was insult from the in-laws… brother-in-law beat up brother-in-law in the middle of the road

In Jalaun, Uttar Pradesh, a young man reached his in-laws’ house to meet his wife. Where the in-laws insulted the young man and drove him away. Disheartened by this, the young man started going home. Then he met his brother-in-law on the way. After this, the brother-in-law took out all his anger of insult on his brother-in-law. The brother-in-law and brother-in-law clashed just a few steps away from the police station. The brother-in-law brutally beat his brother-in-law with kicks and punches in the middle of the road. Seeing this fight, a crowd of people gathered, who saved the young man who was being beaten. As soon as the policemen present in the police station came to know about this fight, they reached the spot and caught the person who was beating him.

The incident of assault took place at a crossroad situated at a short distance from Konch police station. Raja Shah, a resident of Arazi Line, is posted as a security guard in a hotel. Raja had a quarrel with his wife Mehak Bano a few months ago. On which the wife had filed a case of dowry harassment and domestic violence against the husband. On Sunday, security guard Raja Shah reached his in-laws’ house in Kashiram Colony of Konch. Where Raja’s in-laws scolded him and drove him away.

The accused Raja told the police that his in-laws beat him up and said that a case is going on in the court and he should meet them there. Raja was going to the police station with a complaint about this incident, when he saw his wife Mehak Bano’s brother on a motorcycle on the way. Raja stopped him and started beating him on the road. Seeing this, a crowd of people gathered. The police caught the security guard Raja and brought him to the police station.

Raja’s wife Mehak and other people from his in-laws’ house came to know about the assault on her brother. They also reached Konch police station, where Mehak and her brother complained against Raja for assault. On the basis of the complaint, the police registered a case against Raja under sections of BNS in the case of assault. In this case, Inspector in-charge of Konch police station Arun Kumar Rai said that a case has been registered against the youth who assaulted Raja on the complaint of his wife and her brother-in-law, and legal action is being taken.
