The biggest mystery of this temple is that there is a fire pit in this temple which has been burning for the last 500 years and till date no one has been able to extinguish that fire.

Banshi Vat Temple is actually the place where Child Krishna used to take the cows for grazing and play the banshi. The tree under which Shri Krishna used to play flute and have food with his friends is still standing in Banshi Vat. Banshi Vat is situated on the banks of Yamuna, one km away from Tehsil Mant headquarters. It is believed that if one listens to this tree, the sound of the banshee can still be heard from it.

Gopeshwar Mahadev Temple is the only temple in the world where Lord Shiva is present in the form of Gopis. It is said about this temple that when Lord Krishna created Maharas, Lord Shiva also participated in that Maharas in the form of Gopi. Gopeshwar Mahadev Temple is present at the place where Lord Shiva took the form of Gopi. This temple is situated on the banks of Yamuna near Banshiwat. Lord Shiva is still felt in this temple.
