The annual calendar for the year 2024 has been released by the Bihar Education Department. Controversy has started in Bihar as soon as the academic calendar was released. Actually, the holidays of Janmashtami, Rakshabandhan and Ram Navami have been abolished in the academic calendar of Bihar. At the same time, holiday has been declared in schools for three days on Eid and Bakrid.

UP Annual Calendar 2023

Talking about holidays in government and private schools of UP, this year holiday was given on 30 March 2023 on the occasion of Ram Navami. At the same time, there were one day holidays in schools on 29th June for Bakrid and on 22nd April for Eid-ul-Fitr. There was also a holiday on 31st August, the day of Rakshabandhan. However, in UP the calendar of next year i.e. 2024 is being awaited.

In this year’s calendar released by the Madhya Pradesh Education Department, there was a holiday on 30th March on the day of Ram Navami and on 31st August on Rakshabandhan. At the same time, there was a one day holiday on 29th June on the occasion of Eid-ul-Zuha i.e. Bakrid and on 22nd April there was a holiday for Parashuram Jayanti Eid-ul-Fitr. There will be no holiday on the occasion of Janmashtami in Bihar. Whereas in MP this year there were holidays only for Janmashtami on 7th September.

The annual calendar for the next year i.e. 2024 in Rajasthan has not been released yet. Talking about last year’s calendar, there were holidays in the schools of Rajasthan on both the occasions of Ram Navami and Rakshabandhan. At the same time, on the occasion of Eid and Bakrid, there were holidays of only one day each.

Hazrat Muhammad Sahib Birthday

In the new calendar of Bihar, 16 September 2023 is being celebrated as the birth anniversary of Hazrat Muhammad Sahib. One day holiday has been kept on this occasion. However, there is no mention of Hazrat Muhammad Sahib’s birthday in last year’s calendar of UP, MP and Rajasthan.
