The terror of the man-eating wolf returned again in Bahraich, took away a 3 year old innocent girl sleeping with her mother.

In Kandauli village of Bahraich district, a man-eating wolf entered the house, grabbed a 3-year-old girl sleeping near her mother in its jaws and ran away. Panic has spread in the village. Police and forest department teams are conducting search operations using drones.

Once again a heart-wrenching incident has come to light from Bahraich district of Uttar Pradesh. In the early hours of Sunday, a man-eating wolf entered the house in Kandauli village of Fakharpur police station area and grabbed a three-year-old girl Shanvi, who was sleeping next to her mother, in its jaws and ran away. The mother raised an alarm, but by then the wolf had gone towards the sugarcane field. There is now fear and silence in the village, people are not allowing their children to come out of their homes.

How did the wolf attack happen?

This incident happened around 5 am on Sunday morning. When the mother woke up to the girl’s scream, she saw that the wolf was running away with her daughter in its jaws. She shouted loudly and ran back, but by then the wolf had gone towards the fields. Hearing the noise, the villagers gathered and chased them with sticks, but the wolf ran away towards the forest.

Traces of blood and pieces of flesh found 200 meters away

Police and forest department teams reached the spot and started the search operation through drone cameras. Blood stains and pieces of meat were found about 200 meters away from the house, which clearly showed that the wolf had taken the girl to the fields. At present no trace of the girl has been found.

Have attacked before also, Forest Department claims, two wolves left

Villagers say that the same wolf has attacked the area several times before. So far 6 people have died and more than 30 have been injured. Last month too, a teenager was killed by a wolf near the same village.

According to forest department officials, a pack of four wolves was active in the area, two of which were killed some time ago. Now one of the two remaining wolves is believed to be responsible for this incident. The department has given instructions for night patrolling and installation of cages in the area.

An atmosphere of fear and mourning in the village

There is mourning in Kandauli village. The mother is in a bad condition due to crying and is fainting again and again. The villagers have demanded the forest department to immediately increase security in the area and catch the wolf. At present, a joint team of police and forest department is conducting a search operation in the area.
