CM Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the Dharamshala of Natkottai Nagar Kshetram in Kashi. Vice President CP Radhakrishna was the chief guest. Yogi said, the soul of Kashi and Tamil Nadu is one, now both devotion and development are going on together in Kashi.

Varanasi. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday participated in the inauguration ceremony of the Dharamshala built in Kashi Natakottai Nagar Kshetram. The country’s Vice President CP Radhakrishna was present as the chief guest in the program. Yogi started his address by saying “Vanakkam Kashi” and said – “From the Ganga to the Kaveri of Tamil Nadu, our common tradition proves that the languages ​​may be different, but the soul of India is one, eternal and inclusive.”

Ancient cultural relations between Kashi and Tamil Nadu

The Chief Minister said that the arrival of the Vice President in the city of Baba Vishwanath is a moment of good fortune. He said that this Dharamshala built by Srikasi Natakottai Nagar Kshetram Society will provide accommodation facilities to the devotees and will further strengthen the cultural relations between Kashi and Tamil Nadu.

North-South cultural bridge through Vishveshwar and Rameshwar

CM Yogi said that Lord Vishweshwar of Kashi and Lord Shiva of Rameshwaram are worshipable forms of each other. He said, “The North-South relationship created through Lord Shri Ram and Lord Shiva was further strengthened by Adi Shankaracharya by establishing four Peethas across India.”

Tenkashi of Tamil Nadu- Kashi of South

The Chief Minister said that Tenkashi of Tamil Nadu means ‘Kashi of the South’. The ancient temple of Lord Vishwanath is situated here. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is in a period of renaissance of its cultural roots, where reverence and modernity are going hand in hand.

CM Yogi said that both Sanskrit and Tamil are the most ancient languages ​​of India. Both the languages ​​preserve all the elements of Indian culture and give the message of harmony and harmony in the society.

Yogi Adityanath told that the statues of great saints of South India – Tyagaraja Swami, Purandara Das Swami and Arunachal Kavi have been installed in Ayodhya Dham. Also, the four main gates of Ayodhya have been named after Jagadguru Shankaracharya, Ramanujacharya, Ramanandacharya and Madhvacharya.

This land of personalities like Sarnath, Tulsidas, Kabirdas, Ravidas and Guru Nanak still remains the capital of faith and knowledge.

Yogi said that in today’s Kashi there is development along with devotion. The Kashi Vishwanath Dham project has rejuvenated the temple area and connected the devotees with modern facilities. Since then, there has been a huge increase in the number of devotees coming from India and abroad, especially the devotees coming from South India.

Projects worth Rs 16 thousand crore in progress, ropeway will increase facilities

The Chief Minister said that till now development schemes worth Rs 51 thousand crore have been approved in Kashi, out of which schemes worth Rs 34 thousand crore have been completed. Projects worth about Rs 16 thousand crores are in progress. He said that soon we will get the gift of Kashi Urban Ropeway, which will be an example of environment friendly and modern public transport.

Dharamshala was rebuilt by removing encroachment

Yogi Adityanath told that earlier some people had tried to capture the place where the new Dharamshala has been built. He said, “As soon as I got the information, the encroachment was stopped and this land again returned to the service of Lord Vishwanath.”

UP- the biggest investment destination

The Chief Minister said that this Dharamshala built by the Tamil community is dedicated to the devotees coming from the country and abroad. “Today India is the best investment destination and UP is the most attractive investment destination in India,” he said.

Invitation to Ganga Mahotsav and Dev Diwali

CM Yogi said that Ganga Mahotsav is starting from tomorrow, which will run from 1 to 4 November. There will be a grand celebration of Dev Diwali on 5th November. He urged the guests from Tamil Nadu and abroad to witness the divinity and grandeur of Kashi – “The new Kashi will become the identity of the new India.”
