The election campaign for Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh assembly elections will stop today i.e. on Wednesday evening. Today after 6 pm, no processions and public meetings will be held but candidates will be able to seek votes door-to-door. On the last day of election campaign, leaders of all political parties including BJP and Congress are coming out to show their full strength. On the last day, veteran leaders like Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi and Sachin Pilot are coming from Congress to add strength to the election campaign, while senior leaders from BJP including Amit Shah to Yogi Adityanath will address the public meeting.
Voting is to be held on all 230 seats of Madhya Pradesh and 70 seats of Chhattisgarh in the second phase on 17th November i.e. Friday. 2533 candidates are trying their luck on 230 seats in Madhya Pradesh. At the same time, out of total 90 seats in Chhattisgarh, voting has taken place on 20 seats in the first phase on November 7 and now voting is on 70 seats in the second phase on Friday, for which 958 candidates are in the fray. A close contest is being considered between Congress and BJP in both the states.
Rahul and Amit Shah in Chhattisgarh
On the last day of campaigning for the seats in the second phase of Chhattisgarh assembly elections, Rahul Gandhi is contesting from Congress and Amit Shah is contesting from BJP. Rahul Gandhi will hold separate rallies in three assemblies. Rahul will address the first public meeting in Baloda market. After this, there will be a rally in support of Congress candidate Ashish Chhabra in Bemetara. At the same time, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will address election rallies in Saja, Janjgir-Champa and Korba assembly seats to create an atmosphere in favor of BJP. BJP chief JP Nadda will hold a rally in Ambikapur. Apart from this, Anurag Thakur and Assam Chief Minister Hemanta Biswa Sarma will hold road-shows and rallies in different assembly constituencies.

Priyanka and CM Yogi in MP
On the last day of Madhya Pradesh Assembly election campaign, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi to Sachin Pilot are coming out, while on behalf of BJP, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will address the election rally. While Priyanka Gandhi will address public meetings in Datia and Sihawal assembly seats, Sachin Pilot will address election rallies in Gwalior, the stronghold of BJP leader Jyotiraditya Scindia. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge will also address a public meeting in Betul’s Amla Assembly on Wednesday and after that he will also address a rally in Bhopal.
At the same time, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is coming to Chhindwara, the stronghold of veteran Congress leader Kamal Nath, to offer lotus flowers. CM Yogi will hold rallies in Powai and Ashoknagar assembly. After this, he will address Bhopal’s Berasia assembly and then Chhindwara assembly seat, while Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will also address a rally in Chhindwara.
