Thalapathy Vijay has been basking in the success of The Greatest of All Time also known as GOAT. The actor is one of the most celebrated South superstars in the country who charges a whopping amount for each movie.
For GOAT, Thalapathy Vijay took home Rs 200 crore to play the dual roles. But for his upcoming project Thalapathy 69, Vijay charged even higher as he is going to earn Rs 275 for the movie according to reports. After this, he emerged as the highest-paid actor in India surpassing Shah Rukh Khan. The King Khan of Bollywood charged Rs 250 crore for his recent project.
Thalapathy 69 will mark the first collaboration of Vijay and director H Vinoth. As per reports, the movie will be a complete entertainer which will cater to a wider audience and will not have any political touch. The movie is going to be released in theatres in 2025. Not only that it will mark the last movie of the actor. On the other hand, Thalapathy Vijay’s GOAT collected Rs 212.50 crore after 11 days of its release. The movie was released in theatres on September 5. The Greatest Of All Time features Meenakshi Chaudhary, Prashanth Thyagarajan, Prabhu Deva, Sneha Prasanna, Mohan and Yogi Babu in pivotal roles. Trisha, MS Dhoni and Sivakarthikeyan made cameos in GOAT. The movie has been directed by Venkat Prabhu. The makers of the movie recent announced that GOAT is the highest grosser Tamil movie. AGS Entertainment wrote on X, “#TheGreatestOfAllTime running the game as the Highest-Grossing Tamil film of the year- and it’s only getting bigger!”
