Veer Narmad South Gujarat University of Surat district has taken a unique initiative. Cows will be housed and serviced at the site before the construction of a new building at the university. After this a new building will be built. Where the building is to be constructed, puja and havan will also be performed before the construction work.
Before the construction of the new building in Veer Narmad University of Surat, 5 Gir cows will be brought. According to the university management, the cows will be served for 3 months, so that positive energy can be generated in the university. The exercise to bring cows will be started in the next month.
New building will be built at a cost of Rs 27 crore
A new building is to be constructed in Veer Narmad University at a cost of Rs 27 crore. This building will be completely dedicated to studies and students. The university management believes that keeping cows will purify the environment of the university. This decision of the university management is now being discussed everywhere.
One of the arguments behind serving cows in the university is that by doing so the building will become sacred and there will be no hindrance in the work of the university. Also, Kamdhenu Chair will be established in the university. Under this, research work based on cows will be done. Dr. Hitesh Jani, Director of Animal Welfare Board, had sent a proposal to establish Kamdhenu Chair in the University. The tricks of organic farming will also be taught in the university. Besides, research will also be done on Ayurveda.
