Students will get world class technical education, Atishi inaugurated two new blocks in DTU

The Aam Aadmi Party government of Delhi is committed to promoting technical education in the capital. In this direction, Arvind Kejriwal government has prepared two new state-of-the-art academic blocks in Delhi Technological University. Both these academic blocks have 8 floors which are equipped with world class hi-tech facilities including excellent labs, lecture halls, faculty rooms, conference rooms. Technical Education Minister Atishi inaugurated it on Thursday.

Delhi’s Technical Education Minister Atishi said during this time that since coming to power, promoting technical education has always been the priority of the Kejriwal government. We have continuously worked for better infrastructure development of our universities. He said that in the last 8 years, the number of seats in Delhi Technological University has increased from 6,000 to more than 15,000.

Students will get world class education

Delhi’s Technical Education Minister Atishi said that the aim of the Kejriwal government is to provide world-class facilities to all the students studying in its institutions. In this direction, both the new academic blocks of DTU will prove to be an example, where our students will get all the necessary facilities. It will help them in shaping their career in future.

During this, the Technical Education Minister said that our technical education institutions should work forward in the field of research and innovation. Kejriwal government will never let them lack world-class infrastructure and money.

The academic block is of world class

Both the new academic blocks constructed in DTU have 8 floors including basement and ground floor. There are facilities like 36 excellent labs, 67 lecture rooms/class rooms, faculty rooms, conference rooms etc. In both the new academic blocks, more than 5200 students will be able to take classes at a time. Apart from this, this academic block is also eco-friendly, where roof top solar panels, modular rain water harvesting system are also present and a sky ramp has also been prepared to connect both the blocks.
