Once again the same situation is happening to England in Australia, which has happened on many previous tours. England, which lost the first match of the Ashes series within 2 days, suffered a crushing defeat in the second test match as well. Australia won the second Test match played in Brisbane by 8 wickets and took a 2-0 lead in the series. The end of the match was one-sided but the manner in which the match ended created an atmosphere because Australia captain Steve Smith teased England fast bowler Joffra Archer and then thrashed him.

On the fourth day of the day-night test match played in Brisbane Australia defeated England Was all out for just 241 runs in the second innings. In this way, Australia got the target of only 64 runs to win, which it achieved by losing 2 wickets. But the manner in which this match ended, entertained the fans tremendously and also prepared the atmosphere for the next match because just before the end of the match, a clash between Smith and Archer was seen.

Smith made fun

What happened was that Australia lost its second wicket on 41 runs and captain Steve Smith came to the crease. Then there was the wait to see the clash between Archer and Smith. Smith hit a four on the very first ball of Archer’s over. But then on the next ball, Archer bowled a bouncer at high speed, on which Smith could not play the upper cut. It was here that the English pacer said something to Smith and then in response Smith made fun of Archer and said, “When nothing is happening, bowl fast.”

Archer also probably got angry with this and he bowled another fast short pitch ball, on which the ball took the edge of Smith’s bat and went for 4 runs. Once again there was a war of words between Archer and Smith. Archer bowled the next ball at a speed of 150 kilometers per hour and this time Smith hit a six with a tremendous hook shot. There was no further conversation between the two after this.

12 years old story has come true

But not only this, after the end of the match, another old tweet of Joffra Archer went viral, in which he had written a thing which Smith made true in this match. Actually, Archer had tweeted on March 20, 2013 and had written – ‘Steve Smith’s 23 runs in 9 balls’. Exactly 12 years after this tweet, against Archer and his team, Smith scored only 23 runs in 9 balls in this innings.
