SRK turns 60! Celebs shower him with blessings and well wishes

Mumbai: Shah Rukh Khan, who is the epitome of romance, is celebrating his 60th birthday. From Akshay Kumar to Mohanlal, everyone from the film fraternity wished the Bollywood superstar a fantastic birthday. They showered the actor with lots of love.

“Happy happy 60th to a life well lived… advice for the day! Don’t count the candles… Here’s to turning 29 again. Wish all and only good things for you and yours! Happy Birthday @iamsrk #happy60th,” wrote the actor’s best friend and co-actress Kajol. Akshay Kumar shared a throwback picture with SRK and wrote, “Many, many congratulations on your special day, Shah Rukh. 60 ka lagta nahi hai vaise tu kahin se. Shakal se 40, akal se 120 😉 Happy birthday dost. Stay blessed. @iamsrk.”

Thamma actor Ayushmann Khurrana recollected his memories as an SRK fan and claimed that he was a religious follower of the great actor. “I’m a proud SRKian. I’m a big Shah Rukh Khan fan. He has played a big role in me coming to Mumbai to become an actor because I’ve been following him since childhood. The first star I saw in my life was Shah Rukh Khan. He was shooting for Maya Memsaab. I studied Mass Communication because he’s a Mass Communication student. I did what he did – marry early, have kids early. I just followed him to the T. Happy 60 to him,” said Khurarana.

SRK’s long-time pal, Karan Johar, wrote a heartfelt note with a beautiful video. “I have such a vivid and distinct memory of meeting you Bhai, on the sets of Karan Arjun… I went expecting the aura and magic of a rising superstar but instead met a magical man with a beating heart…. Probably the best husband, best father, best son in law, best brother and the best friend anyone can have! Mohanlal, the Malayalam superstar, also took to X to wish SRK on his birthday. The star wrote, “Happy birthday, dear Shah Rukh. Wishing you endless love, laughter and magic, just like the joy you bring to millions. @iamsrk” 

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up for his next big project, King.
