He is a soldier from a village in Amola police station area, who is posted in Guwahati, Assam. He had come to the village on leave on the occasion of Diwali. During this time he had an argument.

Actually the soldier was returning to the village from Kareira on November 3. Stopping at Sirsaud bus stand, he started buying gutkha pouches from the shop. During this time, he had a dispute with two youths standing at the shop. Due to this dispute, both the youth started beating the soldier with shoes and slippers. Both the youths dragged the soldier and brought him to the road. During this time someone made a video and now it is going viral.

On this viral video, Amola police station said that no case of any kind was registered on this matter by the army. Amola police station in-charge Rajkumar Chahar says that the soldier had come to the police station after the incident but he was under the influence of alcohol. The soldier said that he was posted in Guwahati and did not want any action. Police further said that if any complaint comes, they will register a case.
