After the murder of Inspector Prabhat Ranjan by sand mafia in Jamui, Bihar, there is mourning in his village of Vaishali. There is silence in Bhagwanpur Khajuri village of Patepur block of the district. There is chaos in the house and village of martyr police sub-inspector Prabhat Ranjan. The tears of the family members are not stopping. Relatives and villagers have started coming to their house to console the family. Prabhat Ranjan’s uncle Chandrashekhar Sah told that the information about the incident with his nephew and his martyrdom was received over the phone. It was said that he was on patrol while catching a vehicle, during which he was crushed by a tractor driver.
Prabhat Ranjan’s family includes his mother, father, brother and wife who are currently ill. All of them had gone to Delhi for treatment. Inspector’s brother Madhu Kant is a kidney patient and is undergoing treatment there for a long time. Uncle told that Prabhat had joined Bihar Police as Sub Inspector in 2018. Before this he used to work in Railways. He was posted in Katihar. Due to his brother’s illness, he was the only earning member of the family. He has a one year old daughter and three month old son.
Sand mafia’s morale is high
The morale of the mafia doing illegal sand business in Bihar is continuously increasing. The fear of police administration is disappearing from them. Police sub-inspector Prabhat Ranjan and another police personnel, who had gone to catch a tractor carrying illegal sand, were crushed by the tractor driver. During this, police sub-inspector Prabhat Ranjan died on the spot while another policeman was injured and is undergoing treatment in the hospital.
Went to take action against sand lifting
The martyred police sub-inspector has been identified as Prabhat Ranjan, son of Shiv Narayan Sah, resident of Bhagwanpur Khajuri of Patepur block. The mortal remains of Police Sub Inspector Prabhat Ranjan reached his home on Tuesday night. Prabhat Ranjan was posted in Garhi police station area of Jamui district. On Tuesday he had gone to take action against illegal sand lifting. Then near Mahulia Tand village, a speeding tractor carrying illegal sand crushed bike rider Prabhat Ranjan and a jawan, due to which Police Sub Inspector Prabhat Ranjan died while the jawan was badly injured.
