New Delhi: Samsung has introduced a new product, the Galaxy Z TriFold, which is an innovative product that stretches the limits of foldable technology. The TriFold can be expanded twice to bring out a large 10-inch screen, giving customers the feel of using a tablet in a pocket-sized form factor. According to Samsung, the device is the next generation in a line of foldable products, with portability, high performance and advanced AI capabilities all incorporated into a single, multi-folding design.
The TriFold comes with unparalleled productivity and entertainment with the help of a Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform with Galaxy and a 200MP camera. This is shown by its 5,600 mAh three-cell battery, optimised Armour Flex Hinge and strengthened display system. The company asserts that all the devices go through strict checks, such as CT and laser scanning, to fulfil reliability.
Engineering built for a new foldable era
The Galaxy Z TriFold has two hinges that fold inwards to cover the main 10-inch display and yet still remain slim at its thinnest edge of only 3.9 mm. The new shock-absorbing coating and reinforced overcoat make Samsung redesign its foldable display to be durable. The exterior has titanium hinge housing, an Advanced Armour Aluminium frame and a ceramic-glass fibre back panel.
The phone will have flagship-grade hardware, such as 16 GB RAM, a 1 TB storage capacity, and an adaptive 120 Hz AMOLED display. The quality assurance procedure of Samsung involves accuracy in the assembly process in order to make sure that all three panels have the components fitted in the exact manner.
A larger Canvas for AI and productivity
The Galaxy Z TriFold becomes a workstation due to its 10-inch screen and optimisation of the large-screen display. A user is able to use three applications at once, freely resize or use recent applications on a special-purpose taskbar. Samsung DeX can appear as a standalone device that supports a maximum number of four desktops and a larger dual-screen device with an external display. When used with a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard, it is a complete portable computer.
Galaxy AI has been optimised by Samsung with a bigger display. Generative Edit, Sketch to Image and Photo Assist are features that are scalable, which makes editing creative. The Gemini Live system incorporates multimodal AI in responding to what users show, say and do, and offers real-time suggestions in the course of tasks such as home planning or online shopping.
Galaxy Z TriFold display
The technology has a movie experience of a 10-inch dynamic AMOLED 2x display. It has a brightness of 1600 nits on the main screen and 2600 nits on the cover screen and reduced crease visibility. YouTube allows users to view it as they read comments alongside or with Vision Booster, which allows them to view high-quality content at higher colour and contrast when outside.
Although with a big screen, the TriFold can be folded to a small size, and it is easy to carry since it has a weight of 309 grams. The cover display is a 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel having a 120 Hz refresh rate so that the device can be smoothly used even when it is closed.
Galaxy Z TriFold availability and offers
The Galaxy Z TriFold will be rolled out in Korea on December 12, 2025, by Samsung. Other markets such as China, Taiwan, Singapore, the UAE and the U.S. will come later. Customers will receive a 6-month trial of Google AI Pro, which includes advanced Gemini capabilities and 2 TBs of cloud storage. Samsung is also offering a 50 per cent discount on display repair fees to all TriFold customers.
Galaxy Z TriFold comes in Crafted Black, and it has Android 16 and One UI 8. It has Wi-Fi 7, 5G, Bluetooth 5.4 and two SIMs and Samsung Knox security.
