New Himalayan Launch: Royal Enfield will finally be launching the much-anticipated Himalayan 450 at the Royal Enfield Motoverse 2023. The Royal Enfield Motoverse 2023 is scheduled to take place from November 24 to 26 in Vagator, Goa.
Royal Enfield has already revealed the new Himalayan and its details at the EICMA 2023. At the RE Motorverse, the company will be announcing the price details of the new adventure tourer. Interested customers can book the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 with a token amount of Rs 10,000.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 – Expected Prices
The current-gen Himalayan 411’s top-spec model is available at an ex-showroom price of Rs 2.28 lakh. It is fair to assume the new Himalayan 450 will receive a substantial price hike. It is expected that the new model will be priced around Rs 2.60 lakh (ex-showroom) and will be available at on-road price of approximately Rs 3 lakh. The 2024 Royal Enfield Himalayan will be offered in three variants – Base, Pass, and Summit with the main distinction being its colours.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 – Engine
The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is equipped with a brand-new Sherpa 450 engine which has recently been developed by Royal Enfield. This Sherpa 450 is a liquid-cooled engine with a capacity of 451.65 cc that produces 40 bhp of power and 40 Nm of torque. It comes paired with a six-speed transmission that features a slip-and-assist clutch.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 – Features
Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is equipped with some top-notch features such as a colour TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, a first in its segment. Additionally, this TFT display offers turn-by-turn navigation, call/SMS alerts and notifications for engine and battery health. It also offers three riding modes: Eco, Performance (with rear ABS on), and Performance (with rear ABS off). Furthermore, it boasts all-LED lighting, including the headlight and taillights.
