New Delhi: KRAFTON India is taking a big new step in the country’s gaming scene. The company is set to officially become the publisher for Real Cricket, the top cricket gaming franchise made by Nautilus Mobile. The update goes live tomorrow and this move feels like a big shift for players who grew up tapping yorkers and reverse sweeps on a small screen.
This update comes after KRAFTON picked up a majority stake in Nautilus Mobile earlier this year for ₹118 crore (around 14 million dollars). Now it looks like both teams want to take the franchise to the next level with more features and more love for the community that has kept the series alive for more than ten years.
New season of Real Cricket backed by KRAFTON starts now
Real Cricket, according to many fans on Reddit and YouTube comments, always stood out because it tried to reflect real cricket behaviour. Under KRAFTON’s publishing role, things are expected to get bigger in a steady way. The organisations say they want stronger live operations, better engagement and more polished gameplay over time.
Two features will be there from the start:
• RC Pass, a 30 day progression system with its own unlocks
• Real Rewards T20 Series that lets players win real world rewards
Along with these, there are official IPL team licenses. That is something people have asked for, for years. Rajasthan Royals, Mumbai Indians, Lucknow Super Giants, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Punjab Kings are included. More teams are planned. New Hindi commentary, new visuals and fresher animations are planned too.
What happens next
Future updates are already planned. More tournaments, deeper competition and new community events are coming. If you follow esports, this could eventually turn into something bigger for the cricket gaming scene as well. Imagine proper local tournaments where players walk in proudly representing their favourite teams.
